What is a Gift Certificate Key Code?
A Key Code is the number of the Gift Certificate to be entered in the redemption box during online checkout or supplied to the representative at the time of your order. It will look something like this: GXX0-70556846. Your unique Key Code will remain valid for as long as there is an unused balance. Protect your Key Code like a security password. Important: Do not loose your Key Code!

Where is the Gift Certificate Key Code?
Your Gift Certificate Key Code(s) will appear in three places: On the final checkout screen, in an email sent to the email address(s) provided at the time of your order and on the printable, electronic gift certificate included in the confirmation email.

Important Note: While most of our email notifications come through right away, it may take 12 hours or more (depending on your service provider and the time your order was placed) for the email notification to come through! We strongly advise you print copies of the order confirmation screen for your records and save the email(s) in a safe place. Just like a paper gift certificate, it cannot be replaced or refunded if it is lost.

How do I redeem my Gift Certificate(s)?
To redeem a Gift Certificate online: Add the items to your shopping basket and proceed to check out as you would with any order. After you have entered your shipping/billing information, click “Continue” to proceed to the next screen. Then, simply enter the Gift Certificate Key Code in the redemption box and click the “Redeem Gift Certificate” button. If you are using more than one Gift Certificate, enter the next Key Code in the redemption box and then click the “Redeem Gift Certificate” button again. Once you have redeemed your Gift Certificate(s) select your shipping method and click “Continue”. If your Gift Certificate had a remaining balance, it will also be applied to shipping and applicable sales tax on the next screen.

Important Note: If you are applying more than one Gift Certificate to a single order, be sure to redeem them before you select your shipping method and continue to the next screen.

If you order total exceeds the amount of the Gift Certificate(s) you will be prompted to enter your credit card information for the difference. If you order total is less than the balance of the Gift Certificate(s), the last Key Code entered will remain valid reflecting the unused balance.

You can also place your order over the phone or at our store. Be sure to give the Gift Certificate Key Code to the representative assisting you at the time of your order.

What is a good way to present the Gift Certificate to the person I bought it for?
If you include the recipients information in the "shipping" fields during checkout they will automatically receive a gift certificate confirmation along with an attractive, customized electronic Gift Certificate.

If the shipping and billing information are the same we will leave the "To" and "From" sections blank. You can print and personalize the Gift Certificate to include with a card, hide in their dive bag or roll it up like a message in a bottle for a unique twist. Do Gift Certificates expire?
No, our Gift Certificates do not have an expiration date. The Gift Certificate will remain valid for as long as there is an unused balance.

Can I purchase a Gift Certificate over the phone?
Yes, Gift Certificates can be ordered online, over the phone or purchased in store. Your key code and printable electronic certificate will be emailed to the email address(s) provided at the time of your order.

Are Gift Certificates refundable?
No, Gift Certificates are non-refundable and can only be used towards purchases from Island Scuba Corporation of Sunrise, Florida. They can be applied to orders placed online through our website 123Scuba.com, over the phone or in person at our store.

Can I purchase a Gift Certificate for a specific amount?
No, Gift Certificates are available in in $10, $25, $50, $100, $200 and $500 amounts. Multiple certificates can be applied to the same order so purchase the increments closest to the amount you had in mind.

Can I add money to my Gift Certificate?
No, you cannot increase the amount of a Gift Certificate once it has been purchased. However, multiple Gift Certificates can be applied to the same order.

I need a custom Scuba Equipment Package, can I still use my Gift Certificate?
Yes, Gift Certificates can be applied to phone orders and in store purchases including, custom packages, special orders, clearance items, sale specials and more! Gift Certificates are applied to the order total including any applicable sales tax and shipping charges.
